Thousand Lumens was created in 2016 in Stevens Point, WI, by two friends with a shared passion for filmmaking. We are a tight-knit team of skilled, lifelong learners who aim to be industry leaders not only in Central Wisconsin, but regionally and nationally.

Inspired storytelling, collaboration, and having fun are at the center of all of our projects. Our mission is to create lasting emotional connections through storytelling, and we pride ourselves on creating long-term relationships with our clients to help them achieve their goals.

  • Creative Director | Co Founder

    I'm Jade, the Creative Director and one of the founders of Thousand Lumens.

    My role involves digging deep with our clients to understand their most challenging marketing issues and helping them discover impactful stories to address those problems.

    When I’m not working, I enjoy sharing outdoor adventures and traveling with my son, daughter, and wife. I’m also an avid Liverpool fan and dream of experiencing a game at Anfield.

  • Editor and Videographer

    I’m John and editing and being on set is what I do!

    I spend most of my time editing in the office, piecing together footage that we capture and shaping it to create clear, compelling stories. Whether its a fast paced cut or a story that makes you sit, think, and reflect, I love finding that piece that brings a project to life and sharing it with everyone.

    Outside of the editing room I’m always up to something. Riding horses, flying drones, cruising backroads with the top of my jeep off, and practicing cinematography are usually what my life is full of.

  • Producer

    Hi there! My name is Madison or Mads (not to be confused with Social Media Marketing Manager Madison Hohn), and I am the Producer here at Thousand Lumens.

    I help take projects from “idea” to “finished video.” I work with clients, directors, and this lovely crew to make sure everything runs smoothly and that we deliver something we’re all proud of.

    When I am out of the office I enjoy DIY crafts with friends, looking at million dollar houses on Zillow, and watching movies.

  • Head of Operations | Head of Growth | Co-Founder

    I’m Zach, one of the founders of Thousand Lumens, the Head of Operations, and the Head of Growth.

    I'm mostly behind the scenes tackling company-wide initiatives, projects, and service development. I'm also here to ensure that your experience with us is smooth from your first Discovery Meeting, to the delivery of your videos, and beyond. You may see me on set once or twice since I'm still a creative at heart!

    What else? I'm a huge food and beverage guy and love pushing boundaries in my kitchen and at my bar, Daisy Lounge. I'm also big into hiking, kayaking, and reading.

  • Social Media & Marketing Manager

    Hey! My name is Madison and I am the Social Media Marketing Manager at Thousand Lumens.

    I oversee all aspects of our social media efforts, from crafting strategic plans to creating engaging content. I'm passionate about helping you reach your social media objectives and can't wait to get started!

    Outside of my work at Thousand Lumens, you’ll find me discovering new coffee shops, hunting for second-hand treasures, experimenting with painting, or hanging out with my rescue pup and cats!
